Pull me out don't let me drown

The walls of the kingdom are tumbling down

No one's happy in this place

The king lost his crown and the queen has tears on her face

So daddy where you gone to now

If you run, run farther than my legs will carry me

Or I will hunt you down

And you will pay, pay dearly

All the children were sent off to war

They've been marching to battle since the day they were born

The king says he will tame them with gold

But the queen will love them until she is old

Daddy tell me what lesson to learn

Daddy tell me does everyone burn

To leave

One alone

So gather up your memories

The ideals you threw away

Get down on your knees

And learn to pray

For the child you left behind

For the war inside your mind

Maybe someday it will be more than maybe or memories

Daddy thought he raised a strong little girl

But daddy went and broke his little girl's world

The kingdom lost can again be found

But she'll have to build it up from the ground

If her castle can reach to the sky

She can grow the wings to fly

away...away...

away...
